AS SEED FOR THE FUTURE, WATER MANAGEMENT IN ALL ITS ASPECTS MUST CONSIDER WOMEN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN ALL OF THEIR FULLNESS

 

With a strengthened participatory, integrated and shared water management, within the concept that water is vital to human beings and to the development and in the light of its importance in the relationship between people, regions, countries, it is essential to highlight the involvement of women and young people as inducers in this process.

Women, because of the determination, understanding and ability to dialogue, are essential in decision-making and governance processes in shared water management. Their presence, combined with their ability to listen, integrate opinions and find solutions, establishes in the water scenario the certainty of the sustainable conduct of water resources issues.

Young people, through their vitality and willpower, added to their longevity values, stimulate the discovery of paths, strengthening joint actions and breadth in dealing with water.

The citizen, however, either man, woman, young or a child, is the seed of the future and each one must have their participation in taking care of water, so that we always have water.
